Sonor 팀은 아티스트 및 수집가와 협력하여 Vintage Series 악기 라인을 이전 제품인 Teardrop 드럼의 모양, 느낌 및 사운드에 최대한 가깝게 만들기 위해 끊임없이 노력했습니다. 그런 다음 Sonor는 오랫동안 쌓여온 드럼 제작에 대한 지식을 바탕으로 빈티지 드럼의 모양과 소리를 현대의 드럼과 결합하여 오늘날의 현대적인 연주를 소화해낼 수 있는 악기를 만들었습니다.

Sonor는 1975년에 45도 베어링 엣지를 도입했으며 오늘날에도 모든 SQ2, Prolite 및 Force 시리즈 드럼에서 사용되고 있지만, VINTAGE 시리즈는 모든 드럼에 완만한 베어링 엣지를 사용하여 그 당시의 Sonor 사운드를 구현하였습니다. 빈티지 시리즈의 추가로 드러머들은 Sonor만의 고유한 사운드를 온전히 즐길 수 있게 되었습니다. 모든 드럼은 9ply/6mm CLTF(Cross Laminated Tension Free) 비치 쉘로 구성됩니다. 스네어, 랙탐 및 플로어탐은 1950년대에 재설계된 오리지날 2.3mm 스틸 트리플 플렌지 "Superprofil" 후프가 적용되어 있습니다. 모든 Sonor 러그에는 텐션 로드가 느슨해지는 것을 방지하기 위해 특허받은 TuneSafe를 적용하였습니다.
