  * The three dunduns are the base of the rythm. Each one of them has a particular sound: the dunumba has the lowest tone (Ika),the kenikeni has the highest tone, and the sangban, which tone is in between, represents the heart of the rythm. They all have a cylindrical shape, and are equipped with 2 skins. They are normally held horizontally, and hit by one big stick. They also come with an iron bell fixed on the top, that can be hit using the other hand with a iron stick or ring.
